"Vanoli is clearly very important for us, as already said in the previous press conference he has an important contract that he deserves, I hope he stays with us. There are always rumors in the press, I read that Lazio would have asked Pohjanpalo, it never happened. Bologna would have asked us for Tessmann, this is also not true. The players follow and respect the coach, we will see what happens in the summer, I hope the coach will stay with us."
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Tessman has had a brilliant 2023/24 campaign for the Venice-based club. The 22-year-old has been a standout performer in Serie B and is being looked at as a key figure for the USMNT in the Paris Olympics this summer. Alongside Gianluca Busio in the midfield, the American duo hope to take their chemistry at Venezia and have it translate to the pitch this Summer.
